Day 3: Budgets, Beers and Fries

Hello Boys and Girls!

It’s now Wednesday of my Big New York adventure and the sun is still out in force. How nice! I had my first taste of a real New York bagel when I paid a visit to the Brooklyn Bagel and Coffee shop and ordered a West Side Chorizo wrap. One word everyone: delicious!

After the bagel I headed over to a work shop on film budgeting hosted by Showbiz at the Showbiz Store and Cafe which was most useful. I most definitely recommend heading over there as it’s full of great books and useful info!

After the seminar I went to visit the offices of my friends at Buffalo Picture House, who were busy working hard on their various projects. They’re an incredibly talented and wonderful team, and their offices are so cool they even have a golf cart in the courtyard!

The golf cart is a must for all production companies....!

The evening was rounded with casual drinks at the Norwood Club which is fast becoming my new favourite haunt in the city….! I most highly recommend their truffle oil fries…hmmm so delicious!
